Polyol is a fundamental building block in polyurethane chemistry, serving as one of the two primary reactive components in polyurethane production. Structurally, polyols are organic compounds containing multiple hydroxyl (\u2013OH) groups that determine their reactivity, functionality, and the final properties of the polymer they help form.
